Acharya Charak states that one must have everything around them, thoroughly cleaned and sterilized. Frequent Hand wash, cleanliness of houses, premises and surroundings, maintaining clean & good air quality, proper waste disposal, sanitation practices are advocated by Ayurveda.
” हितं जनपदानां च शिवानामुपसेवनम् “
During an epidemic, it is recommended that each and every object we come in contact with, must be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized.
This is the most authentic and valuable piece of advice as per Ayurved to be followed in order to stay safe in today’s tough times.

Making sure that the house is well ventilated. If it is air conditioned, the AC should be cleaned and well maintained. No moulds, fungus etc.
